"Look,ate! The water falls down with different colors! This is fun!"
After walking towards the pool they were talking about we saw a bar stool and many guess partying around. It still afternoon but seeing how people gather around and partying is like there was an event or something here.
"Don't go far us. Masyadong delikado sayong pumunta kung saan saan," I said before we followed Rogen in the bar table.
Sinuri ko ang paligid gayun din ang mga available na snacks and foods sa mga stool. The hotel designed was perfectly for summer. Although this is not summer yet guess enjoyed swimming and partying around the area.
"We never go to the places like this. I remembered the time the collegue call an event but we where still preocuppied for the duty next day. We are really busy before."
Rogen was right. We never go and enjoy our moment for the very long time. The only time for us was lunch or a fast dinner. We've been known each other since college. He was graduating and I am still in freshmen. Those days is really memorable with us. We are aging and we can't go back there and enjoy again. We almost got on a break up when he became busy after sophomore then we get back again together when I am on the 3rd year of the course.
*Flashback
"You look like you never sleep for a week."
He ask while reading a novel. That subject was a disaster and this is my only time to talk to him. Now, I understand why he has a full sched without doing off from his duty.
"I ordered fruit shake," he said before closing the book he was reading.
"What do you want to talk about?" Masungit kong sabi dalhin ito lang talaga ang oras ko para makipag usap sa kaniya.
"Nothing. I just want to see you,"
We look likes we were meeting for something because we were acting like professionals here.
"After the order serve we can finally go outside."
Isinandal ko ang sarili sa upuan at tinaasan siya ng kilay.
"Where? I don't really know why I chose to be a doctor. I only slept for two hours."
I kept complaining before the order served. I am literally tired and I don't want to use my time for going somewhere having fun or what. Now, I really know why the hardwork he was doing before. I am the one who broke up with him and then, we get back again after he explained things. I used to be with him always.
"That's why you need to rest. I'm going to cook while you're sleeping. I already talk to your Mom. She agreed so I think we can go now?" I froze because of what he said.
"You really talk to her?! Anong pinag usapan niyo?"
"Nothing. Tara na. Sa condo ko tayo."
Hindi pa ako nagsasalita ng nauna na siyang tumayo at niyakag akong umalis.
"Are you serious?"
I kept blinking my eyes ready to fall asleep.
"This is our first anniversary. Normal couple will complaining if his girlfriend not on the mood to go outside because she's still sleepy. I am not that kind. What do you want to cook?"
Yeah right. He's not like that because he's always busy too.
"I want sinigang," I said before I rest my back and close my eyes. This is my first time going to his condo and I am not on the mood to react and think about something unecessary.
"Sleepy head we're here."
I don't know how many minutes I close my eyes when I heard his voice waking me up.
Ilang beses niya pa ako ginising bago bumangon at tumingin sa paligid.
"Why? Sounds interesting? I've been living here won my freshmen's days."
I snob before we go upstairs before we stop on his place. It was an amazing condo because everything I saw are high-tech.
"You can sleep on my bed. I'm going to cook sinigang."
We never had an endearment because I don't like calling one.
"Okay. I am really sleepy."
I open his bedroom and saw a refreshing bed of his while scanning every inches inside of it. He's a cool man. Not sweet but I like everything about him. Maybe that's also the reason why, we get back together.
"Just call me if you need something, love!"
Napahinga ako ng malalim bago tuluyang nahiga sa kama niya. We looks like living in one roof.
Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras ako natulog bago tuluyang nagising ng maramdamang gumalaw ang gilid ng kama. Mahina ang sariling pakiramdam ngunit ng maisip ko na baka ma-late ako ay agad akong napabangon at napatingin sa orasan na akala ko'y nasa sarili akong kwarto.
"Hey! I got nervous! Baket bigla bigla ka na lang bumabangon!"
Doon ko lang nakita si Roge na nagbabasa ng isang libro sa tabi ko.
"Akala ko may duty ako. And you, what are doing there?!"
"I don't want to wake up you, kaya binantayan na lang kita.By the way, are you hungry? Since you're awake, let's eat."
He is energetic even if he had sleep for only hours too. Hindi ko alam kung immune na siya sa puyat at walang tuluhan pero may oras pa siya para magbasa ng libro.
"Kumain ka ng marami para tumaba taba ka naman. Kulang ka na nga sa tulog, kulang ka pa sa kain."
Napasimangot naman ako ng dagdagan niya ng pagkain sa plato ko.
"Sana nagchef ka na lang."
Hindi ko maitatangging masarap siyang magluto. Mas gugustuhin ko pang maging chef siya. Kung maboryo ako sa pagdodoctor susundan ko na lng din siyang magluto.
"Ang sweet mo naman. Hindi tayo magkakakilala kung naging chef ako," napapailing pang sabi nito.
Halos ilang minuto din bago kame natapos sa pagkain. Matapos niyon ay nagpresinta ako na ako na lamang ang maghuhugas ng mga plato. This guy is really something. Pagtapos ko kasing maghugas ay nakita kong nagpiplay na ang isang movie.
"Akala ko ba day off mo. Walang kasawaang opera na naman yan. Ilipat mo nga yan."
Napapakamot pa niyang ibinalik sa pagpipilian ng mga pelikula bago tumingin sa akin.
"What movie?"
"Ying bakbakan para may thrill hindi puro pagkakalikot ng katawan pinapanood mo."
Matagal pa bago siya nakahanap ng panonoorin namin.
"Dito ka nga sa tabi ko ang layo layo mo."
Nakatutok na ang mata ko sa palabas bago niya ako hilahin at itabi sa kaniya. We never had cuddle and this is the first. Wala namang problema sa akin bukod sa pagpigil ng hininga kapag katabi siya. Feeling ko kase naririnig niya ang paghinga ko gayun din ang tibok ng puso ko. We won't go back to each other if didn't love each other too. I am not going to say to him I love him because I know inside my heart is calling his name.
I ignore the thoughts in my head and focus of the movie we were watching.
Nasa kalagitnaan pa lamang ng movie ng maiiwas ko ang paningin sa palabas dahil sa hindi inaasahang may spg pala roon.
'Pati ba naman action, may spg?!'
I saw he fast forward the scene before we continue watching again.
Thoughts of first kiss cross on my mind. I hate myself for thinking things like that.
Natapos namin ang palabas ng walang imikan. Dalawa lang kame sa condo niya at halos tunog lamang ng movie ang maririnig.
"If you were the leading lady, are you going to risk your life to your guy?" until he had a chance to spoke.
"If the leading lady loves the guy, she don't need to say that she'll risk her life for him. The leading lady never talk but she'll actually risk everything for him."
This is literally awkward.
"You mean, you will save me?"
I needed to look to Roge after saying a thing to see his reactions.
"I am not the leading lady," I smirk after saying it.
"We didn't eat sweets, Amber."
We both laugh before proceeding to the next movie. This time it was really romantic. Pilit pa kameng pumili ng bagong movie hanggang sa huli ay sumuko na lamang kame at ipinagpatuloy ang huling movie na pinapanood namin.
Ilang minuto pa lamang ay hindi ko na napigilang tumayo dahil nakaramdam ako ng init sa panonood.
"I'm going to sleep again."
I said before getting back to his bed.
"You are blushing."
I need to stop because of what he said.
"I am not!"
Mabilis ko pang sinarado ang pinto ng kwarto bago napasandal sa likod ng pinto.
"Hello, yes I'm home. Why? I'm off today. You can asked for another doctor. Elaine, I am not the only doctor here. Just ask Raul or Christian."
Ilang saglit pa ng marinig kong may kausap na siya sa telepono na naging hudyat ng paglabas ko sa kwarto. This is the only time for us. I remembered the time the he should be picking me up but end up going home alone.
"If that's an emergency, you can go. I should go home too if that's the case-"
"No. I am not going."
"Your profession calling you. You need to go.".
"I said I wont and that is final."
Napagulo pa siya ng sarili niyang buhok bago tumingin sa selpon niyang kakababa lamang ng tawag.
"Roge."
He seriously look at me before he gets closer and kiss me.
Mabilis na nanlaki ang sariling mata ko ng gumalaw ang labi niya na nakadikit sa labi ko. Napakapit ako sa damit niya ng maramdaman ang lambot nito.
Dahan dahan kong ipinikit ang mata hanggang sa unti unti ako sumasabay sa paggalaw ng labi niya. Matagal bago humiwalay sa isa't isa ngunit nanatiling malapit. Seryoso niya akong tinitigan habang ako ay biglang nakalutang sa hanging dahil sa ginawa niya.
"This is my only time to be with you. I won't going, okay?"
Nanatili akong tulala bago natauhan sa ginawa niya.
"Hinalikan mo ba talaga ako?!" gulat kong tanong sa kaniya.
"Namumula ka, love," sabi niya habang ngumingisi.
"What-"
Hindi na niya pinatapos pa ang aking sasabihin at muli niya akong hinalikan. We are studying human parts and we know something like this. That day, we ended up kissing on his bed. I can't help but to moan because of his kisses.
"Rog-uhmn,"
Para akong tinutunaw sa bawat halik na ginagawa niya. Hindi ko namalayan na wala na kame pareho ng pang itaas. He's kissing my breast repeatedly.
"I want to spend my life with you."
I heard his voice while he's kissing my cheeks and goes down my ears until my neck.
That afternoon is our first making out. We ended up sleep on the bed while cuddle with each other.
