A week later, Bella woke up early to have a sprint in the woods just like her wolf suggested, she ran as fast as she could on all fours until they got to the border and then were they were tired.
They decided to walk back home,
“Bella” Diamond called her in a low tone.
“Hmm” she exclaimed.
“Have you ever stopped to think of how our lives turned out to be for the better” She asked.
“What do you mean?” Bella asked back.
“When we first met, you had a strong urge for revenge against Alpha Coast and your hatred for him was pure but look at you now. You love him with all your heart and entrust your life in his hands” She said recalling their dreadful past when Bella and Coast were enemies. Diamond had never thought they would look beyond their hatred and turn out to love each other they do right now.
“I know I had hated him in the past but all that hatred is gone now besides he is my mate and I feel drawn to him” Bella answered her also reminded of the past where she wanted nothing more than to kill Coast.
“I know he is our mate but what I am saying is that he was our mate in the past too when we wanted revenge. Do you think you could have taken your revenge on him if the truth didn’t come out” Diamond asked a crucial that Bella hadn’t thought of before.
“I would have if it were up to my mind but if it were up to my heart then I would have forgiven him” Bella answered, despite the conflict she had with Coast in the past, she knew deep down that she had feelings for him. She didn’t want the feelings to grow to a much bigger extent which was one of the reasons she wanted to run away from him just so that she could be free from him.
“I can bet you would have forgiven him and loved him. But let’s look on a different angle, if he hadn’t taken the blame for Alpha Nathan then we wouldn’t have met him. Aren’t you grateful that he came into your life even if it was in the worst way ever” She asked once again.
“I am grateful” Bella replied.
Bella and Coast love story wasn’t a perfect story which involved love at first sight, they were faced with a trial immediately they met which enabled them to look beyond their hatred and try to work things out with each other.
“He has been the best mate to us” Diamond remarked as they felt at ease being with Coast. Bella knew so well that he was much more than she could ever ask for. Not once in her life did she think she would be Mated to an Alpha but she was given Coast amongst all yet he loved her and never acted like she was just a mate to breed with. He had showed her how much he loved her at each passing moment.
A twig being snapped was heard behind her and Diamond turned to see who it was, she saw two rogues walking behind her, she looked forward and three more were already in her front.
“Where the hell did they come from?” Bella asked surprised that she was walking alone in one minute and the next minute she was surrounded by rogues.
“I don’t know but we can take them down” Diamond answered ready to fight, she picked her first victim which was the tallest amongst them and aimed for him leaping in the air when she got pushed by another rogue from the side which she hadn’t expected. Diamond hit her body on a tree and winced in pain. The rogue didn’t stop there but it bit her leg hard causing blood to ooze out.
Diamond struggled to stand up on her fours but one of her legs was wounded.
There were about eight rogues surrounding her now, she still felt like she could take them on, one of the Rogue bit her other leg and another bit down on her body. Bella was in so much pain but she fought back, she pushed the Rogue off her body and kicked that Rogue biting her leg away.
In a split second she was thrown to the tree with a hard force.
When she opened her eyes, the Rogues were much closer to her ready to finish her off when a dark roar was heard.
Bella thought it was Coast but she was surprised to see a brown wolf appear in front of her defending her.
The wolf bit down on the neck of a rogue and clawed the face of another. He let out a deep growl and the Rogues slowly retreated back and disappeared in an instant.
The brown wolf came to her and licked her wounds to help it heal faster then he changed back to his human form.
“Almano” Bella said once she saw him.
He picked up his shirt that he had taken off earlier before changing and gave it to her.
“How did you know I was attacked” she asked surprised that he came to her side.
“I was on duty when I spotted a few rogues then I decided to investigate and that was when I saw you fighting them,
You are badly injured Luna” he said looking at her leg injury. The bite had gone in so deep that it would take a day before she recovered.
“I know, you don’t need to tell me” Bella remarked feeling pain in her back, she touched the spot and there was blood on her hands.
“ I have to take you to the hospital Luna” Almano suggested.
“Don’t worry, I can go there myself” she replied.
He stared at her questionable wondering if she had already forgotten that she was wounded or she just didn’t need his help.
“Are you crazy, you cannot walk with this injury” he reminded her.
Bella looked down on her leg and saw that he was right,
“Mind the way you speak to me, I am still your Luna” she reprimanded him for speaking to her casually.
“I’m sorry Luna, I will just take you to hospital” he said picking her up in his arms.
Almano took a step forward when he saw Alpha Coast standing in front of him looking angry, he could tell he was pissed for touching his mate as much as carrying her in his arms like she was his.
“Coast” Bella muttered when she saw him.
His eyes were dead red as he clenched his fist. Alpha Coast heard of the attack from a guard who came to report to him claiming he had seen some Rogues by the border, he made haste immediately knowing Bella was there. He was so scared that she might be in danger because she had gone out for a sprint in the woods only for him to arrive and see her in another man’s arms.
“She is wounded” Almano immediately defended himself from the rageful and possessive Alpha in front of him.
“Put her down” Coast ordered him but he hesitated looking back at him.
“I said put my mate down” Alpha Coast yelled at him moving closer to them.
