Chapter Scolding

The next morning Bella left to the Kitchen to make breakfast when she was met Adeline who had already made breakfast.

“Good morning Bella” Adeline said with a beautiful smile on her face enough to fool anyone.

“Morning Adeline” she replied taking a seat.

“What are you doing?” She asked.

“Breakfast is almost ready, I woke early to prepare this for you and Coast” she said keeping two plates of spaghetti and meatball on the table.

Bella studied her but all she could see just how happy she was making breakfast for them, she thought to herself.

‘Maybe she was harmless and really needed forgiveness from Coast’ but a plate of food wasn’t going to take away her suspicions.

The door opened and Coast walked in, when he saw her making breakfast, he instantly frowned at such sight.

“I thought you were making breakfast” he turned to Bella because that was what she told him when she left the room.

“I was but she was already here and she made breakfast” Bella answered pointing at the food served for her and him.

“I just wanted to make breakfast for both of you to thank you for letting me stay” Adeline stated.

“You shouldn’t have bothered. I don’t eat anything anyone else cooks unless it is from my mate” Coast answered rudely and Adeline pulled a sad expression in front of them.

“Can you make breakfast for me” He turned to Bella ignoring the presence of Adeline.

  “Sure” she replied.

“But I woke up early to make this” Adeline interrupted them and Coast was mad.

“Do you think I care, just because I let you in this castle doesn’t mean that you have the right to speak to me or even cook for me. Bella is the reason why you are here in the first place so do not think that I have opened my heart to you” He lashed out on her while she kept her head down all sad and moody from being scolded by him.

“Next time, avoid making any food here unless you want to cook for yourself. We have people who can do that and they are much easier to trust than you.

Do I make myself clear” he demanded.

  “Yes” she answered him.

“Bella dear, could you make my favorite for me” he requested.

“I will, just give me an hour” she replied and he left the kitchen.

Bella picked up her fork to begin eating when she heard sobs, it was only her and Adeline in the kitchen so it had to be from Adeline.

‘How soft was she that she would be crying over a little scolding, it was not like he strangled her which was what he could have done if he was really mad’ she thought to herself.

Bella decided to ignore her and continued eating when the sobs grew louder.

She dropped her fork and walked up to her.

“Please stop crying” she said comforting her but she was more concerned about getting her out of the kitchen so that she could make breakfast for Coast.

“I don’t know what else to do to make him forgive me. I am trying so hard but it seems he would never forgive me” she uttered looking depressed and defeated in front of Bella.

“You have to try and understand him, it is not easy to forgive someone like that. If I were in his shoes I wouldn’t forgive so easily either” Bella said. Forgiveness was not an easy thing to attain, it took her a while to forgive Hava and it also took a lot to forgive Coast in the past even though all he did was keep his family secret from her.

“I know it is hard to forgive but I am trying so hard here to. All I want is for him to open his heart to me. I just feel like I came here so that he could torture me and remind me of how much he hates me” she said.

“Atleast you got that one right” Bella thought to herself. They had actually let her stay so that they could monitor her and Coast never promised to be nice to her.

“Don’t give up, he didn’t mean the words he said” Bella replied instead.

“Did you see the look on his face, he looked like he could kill me any minute. I already hate myself for the things I did to him. I just wish he could forgive me” she cried out when she was laughing within from being able to fool Bella that she was hurting.

“There’s the problem, you haven’t forgiven yourself, how then do you expect him to forgive you” Bella asked raising her head.

“I guess you are right, I should be able to forgive myself before thinking of begging him for forgiveness. If I am able to forgive myself then maybe one day he would be able to forgive me” She said and Bella agreed with her even though she knew that would never happen.

“Why don’t you go to your room and rest, like you said you woke up early to make breakfast which means you must be tired” Bella suggested to her.

“You are right, I do need to rest” She stated and left. Bella stayed in the kitchen to prepare Coast favorite, when she walked into the kitchen earlier and saw her, she knew Coast wouldn’t be pleased but she just kept quiet to not ruin her good spirit.

Adeline returned to her room slamming the door in anger, she was so mad that Coast could act so rude to her. She had thought that a simple gesture would soften his heart but he was much colder than she thought.

She knew she had to do more to make him trust her before she could begin to execute her plans.

“You want to act tough right, do you think you are going to keep that up. I haven’t really started but by the time I am done. You would forgive me easily” she said to herself with a cocky smile on her face.

Coast may have been tough right from childhood and he only because of what she did to his family but she wasn’t going to give up on him.

Gaining his forgiveness was a key to beginning her next plans and she swore at nothing to make sure that she earned it. She thought of using Bella to get that and it sounded like a good idea to her. Like he said, Bella was the reason why she was able to stay because she had spoken to him which meant that she could be the reason why he could forgive her.

“I will get back at you Coast, I will break you so hard that you would regret ever letting me into your lives” She promised herself.

Adeline searched her bags and brought a pendant she had held unto for so long, it was the pendant she had stolen from Coast’s mother in past before she was banished. She now intended on using it on Coast to soften his heart, she was going to remind him of his mother and make him see that she was a good person by returning it to him.

“Let’s see if you would be able to resist this” she stated but then again she thought to herself. Coast had been able to kill his father in the past which could only mean that his heart was as cold as ice. Would he be able to soften up after seeing his mother’s pendant, does he even know it is hers?. She questioned herself as she held the pendant in her hand tightly.
