The sun rose high up in the sky, Adeline thought of making breakfast for everyone most especially Coast to see if he had forgiven her or perhaps soften up to her.
Fortunately for her, Coast was the one who walked in.
“Good morning” she greeted him with a warm smile but he was dead silent on her.
“How is Bella feeling?” She asked again but he still didn’t answer her.
“I made breakfast for her and you, can she come down?” She kept on asking to see if Coast would answer her or not.
“No” he finally replied.
“Okay then” she answered. Coast just stood there without touching the food she made for him.
“Adeline” he said her name but not calmly, rather roughly.
“Yes” she answered making tea for herself, she had gloves on because she didn’t want to burn her hands with the heat.
“Did you really see the omega poison Bella’s coffee?” he asked again watching her every reaction to see if he could figure out the truth.
“Yes I did” she answered.
‘Wait a minute, is he still doubting me?” she thought to herself.
“Okay” he answered turning to leave. From her reaction and how calmly she answered he couldn’t pick out if she was telling the truth but this was Adeline he was asking, She was more than capable of lying her way through anything so he couldn’t believe if what she said was true or not.
“Uhhm” he turned back.
“Thank you the saving Bella’s life” he stated.
‘You are finally coming around’ she thought to herself again glad that Coast was actually buying her act. She had guessed that the incident was going to make him trust her.
“It’s nothing, if I had the chance I would do it again. Bella is now like a daughter to me and I would never let anyone try to harm her” she said sweet talking the whole scenario like she actually cared about Bella.
“She means so much to you right?” She asked Coast.
“Yes, she is my life” he replied and she smiled.
‘Ofcourse she is’ she said within.
“Since she means a lot to you then she also means a lot to me.
I am really trying my best to reach out to you and let you know that I would never harm you or your mate. I am a changed person now and I could never do anyone harm” she commented.
Coast was silent listening to her, he really wanted to leave there but just stood to hear if she would slip up and expose herself unintentionally.
“I just wish that some day you would be able to open your heart and forgive me but anyways I would never stop asking for your forgiveness until I get it” she added.
She gave a cup of coffee to him,
“It’s my specialty” she said but he just held it without drinking from it.
“You wouldn’t think that I poisoned you with the coffee huh?” She asked seeing how hestitant he was in drinking it.
“You can easily tell if there poison in it just by inhaling the scent, if you are familiar with the coffee you drink then you can tell when the aroma has changed a bit.
We wolves can actually do that, you must have tried it before right?” She asked him.
Coast raised the cup to his nose and inhaled the aroma,
“I don’t like it” he said and dropped the coffee on the table.
“It’s alright I can always make what you like” she said ready to make what he wanted.
“I don’t need anything, like I said I don’t eat anything except Bella makes it most especially now that my omega’s are turning against me” Coast said. This was the second omega who had tried to kill Bella and Coast was tired of such scenario. He could feel that the things they eat could be poisoned at any moment. Bella was beginning to have insecurities because everyone was already trying to tamper with her drinks.
“It’s alright, please tell Bella that if she needs anything then I am right here” she said.
Coast left quietly without answering her but she was more than okay with the chat they had. After claiming to save Bella’s life even though she was the one who tried to poison her, She could see that Coast was warning up to her. He even answered a few questions of her and thanked her which was something he had never done since she stepped foot in the pack. He had always acted cold to her and the only reason he ever talked to her was to warn her for the things she did. He may not have eaten her food or drank her tea but she knew that she was getting somewhere with him and in no time he would let his guard down.
She picked up his tea still with her gloves and poured it down the sink then she took off the gloves and smiled.
“Hell to you all” she uttered and then left the kitchen to manifest her next plot against Coast immediately.

Bella woke up in the evening and found Coast by her side,
“Coast” she called but he didn’t respond to her. She thought he was deep in sleep so she decided to let him be. After making dinner and bringing it to the room for them to eat she decided to try again.
“Coast” she called and shook his body but there was no response. It was then she finally noticed that he wasn’t breathing.
“Coast wake up” she shook him more but there was no response.
Bella was beginning to get worried, Coast wasn’t moving or making any sound at all. He wasn’t even breathing.
“Coast” she called lifting his hand but it fell lifeless to the bed.
“Noooooooo” she screamed so hard that it could pierce the eardrum of anyone around.
