Chapter 64

Viewpoint of Henry

"On the other hand, you're just eighteen years old, yet you're already married and live in your own apartment with your wife." Zane remarked again gazing at me shaking his head in displeasure.

"Zane, come on, man, do we really need to keep bringing this up again and again? I can honestly say that being married to Samantha is one of the best decisions I've ever made." I will say this for the one hundred and first time today.

"Don't get me wrong I mean, I have a lot of respect for Samantha, and if you weren't in the way, I would definitely give her a call. But without getting too far off topic, what I'm getting at is this: how the hell can you be pleased about the fact that you get to sleep with just one female for the rest of your life instead of having the ability to sleep with anyone that moves the way you did in the past?" he questioned gazing at me like I'd gone insane.

Because Samantha is the name of that one girl. My response was straightforward.

It was the only thing I could think of to say in order to explain it. Samantha was a one-of-a-kind person, and she always had been; if I had known that one day she would want to be with me, I would have waited for her as well. She was simply that wonderful. You can't alter your history, and thankfully, she didn't think any less of me for sleeping around, which is a relief. If I had known I had a chance, I would never have fooled about with those other girls. I would have been much more responsible.

"All right, young men, let's get this practice underway on the field." The coach yelled, causing an interruption to our chat.

I couldn't help but crack a grin of contentment as I realized I wouldn't have to waste any more time answering stupid questions about Samantha and I.

"May I have a word with you, Henry?" As I tried to sneak out of the building without the coach noticing, he shouted something.

I let out a sigh, and Jerry gave me a friendly pat on the back while flashing me a sympathetic grin. I hung back, and he waited until everyone had left the room before speaking, so I knew I was going to get it for missing the last couple of days' worth of class.

He raised his eyebrows and looked at me in an authoritative manner while saying, "Ok, so I think there are a number of things we need to talk about." "The first question that comes to me is, "Where the heck have you been for the past two days?" I required you to assist in the training of the new employee at the practice. I get that you were married and all that, but Henry, the squad really needed you too."

I gave a polite nod and pretended to be sorry for my absence, even though I wasn't sorry at all that I had to miss work for two days. I had a lot of things to figure out, but I wasn't going to let the fact that I was moving in with the girl of my dreams make me feel guilty about it.

"We needed to get some things straightened up. I am sorry about that, and rest assured it won't happen again." I can confirm this.

He shook his head and added, "Good, ok well the second item is about what happened Friday night during the game." "Good, ok well the second thing is about what happened Friday night at the game."

I inhaled deeply because I was aware that he would want to discuss that topic with me. "Yeah, I'm sorry that you had to take me off the job in the middle of it, but I had certain things that needed to be taken care of," the person said. I remarked with a grimace, fighting the want to feel irritated at the prospect of Blake getting close to my girl once more.

"Henry, please don't think that I'm talking about having to substitute you out in the middle of the game! I was referring to what took place, namely what I had heard about Samantha's arm and what had been going on with Blake Chambers. I am aware that the two of you have disagreements, the majority of which is probably due to my actions, but if either of you ever need someone to talk to or assistance, you are to come to me, okay?" While he was looking into my eyes, he gave my shoulder a little squeeze to reassure me.

"Thanks, I really appreciate that, but the situation is under control at this point because the cops are involved." I nodded, expressing the hope that things was going well. I thought he was a really nice guy, and I had a lot of respect for him.

"Okay, that's great to hear. Therefore, come on, great player, let's get moving and get you to work up a sweat. Please assist the new wide receiver on my behalf, okay? Even though he had a significant role at his previous institution, and despite the fact that we are fortunate to have him, I do not believe that he is overly cocky." While we were making our way out to the playing field, he slapped me on the back and remarked.

The new person was pretty good, but the coach was right: he lacked a little confidence in his ability and was a bit afraid to go in heavy for the ball. Although the new guy was pretty excellent, the coach was right. The coach gave us a really tough ride, which I believe was a direct result of my absence from practice for the previous two days.

During the majority of the time that we were working on our drills, I was unable to tear my gaze away from the hot little piece of ass that was sitting in the bleachers having a conversation with Susan. Holy hell, my wife is just stunning. When I felt something hit me in the chest, I dove to the ground with all my might, knocking the wind out of me in the process. Holy crap, I need to keep my focus on the task at hand! Wow, I'm sure that stung!

"Sorry, you ok?" Andy inquired while staring at me with contrition in his eyes as he moved himself off of me and extended his hand to assist me in standing up.

"You were absolutely justified in eliminating me because I wasn't paying attention to what was going on. If it had been one of the other guys, they probably would have broken a rib to teach me a lesson about paying attention. I should be thankful that it was you instead of one of the other guys." I made a joke about it while smacking his shoulder and quickly casting a glance at Samantha, who was standing and staring concernedly at me. Damn, that girl was worrying much too much about me, so I showed her with a wave of the hand that I was alright.

"Alright, gentlemen, that wraps up everything for today." The coach yelled at them.

"Yeah, you seem to be a little distracted, but isn't that your sister?" Andy inquired while indicating Samantha and Susan with his head movement.

"Sister?" I questioned, puzzled.

"Yes, Samantha, she identified herself as Samantha Williams in the conversation. You really are Henry Williams, aren't you? So tell me, what exactly is the deal with that? Keep your distance from my younger sister or there may be consequences." He inquired while frowning.

Samantha is not my sister, I shook my head and laughed as I explained, "Samantha is," My back was struck by something, and the impact sent me flying once again into the ground. I let out a groan, and then I heard laughter coming from above me.

"For the love of God, Jerry, just leave him alone!" Samantha yelled loudly from the stands as the game was going on.

As he stood up and began to chuckle, he exclaimed, "Uh-oh, the misses is mad!"

Believe me when I say that you do not want to see her angry because when she explodes, she is like a freaking fireworks display. I said while smiling and shaking my head as I tried to lift myself up off the floor.

"Yeah? Does it mean there is no more spark? "he joked smirking.

Samantha gave him a whack on the back of the head, which caused him to wince. She uttered these words with a hostile tone: "No, more like if you mess with with me you'll be burned dipshit."

As Jerry stared at her in an embarrassed manner, I couldn't help but laugh and shake my head. "Come on, Samantha, I've let him off the hook for the past two days by not kicking his ass."

"Oh no, you didn't get my behind, Jerry!" I made a joke.

"Man, you are friggin hilarious," he exclaimed while shaking his head and laughing. "Man, you are friggin hilarious."

Andy was not participating in the conversation and was only observing it from a distance. I couldn't help but notice how frequently he smiled at Samantha. Oh heck no! Is this the reason he was inquiring about what was going on with my sister? Was he expressing interest in dating her or something similar? No freaking way in hell is he going to develop a crush on my girl because it would be extremely embarrassing!

I took hold of her hand and drew her closer to me, causing her to let out a high-pitched squeal. She wailed, "No! You're filthy!" as I wrapped my filthy arms around her and pulled her flawless body closer to mine, causing her shirt to become soiled as well.

"You like me dirty." I hushed her while giving her a smirk.

She slanted her eyes and gave a very seductive expression before saying, "Well, you're right there, I do like you dirty." She let out a breath. I couldn't wait to get her back to our house since I'd been thinking about her and missing her like crazy all day. I gave her a grin as I inched my face closer to hers. When her lips were an inch away from mine, I could smell the refreshing mint on her breath as it brushed across my lips and caused my mouth to moisten. She pulled her face away from me just as my lips were about to come close to touching hers and said, "But I don't like me dirty."

I stared at her in disbelief as she glared at me with her tongue sticking out. What a cruel tease. "Oh my goodness, Samantha bear, you are in for it!" You were warned. She squealed with delight before turning around and running off across the field. Because I knew I could outrun her by a significant margin, I decided to give her a head start.

It is in your best interest to flee, Samantha. I yelled after her, and as I heard her laugh growing louder, it made me smile. "Excuse me." I said while cocking my eyebrows in the direction of the boys who were watching her flee.

I sprang into a full run and then had to back off because I was getting too close to her too quickly. I wished for her to move farther away from the school so that we might have some time to ourselves, even if it was just for a few seconds. When she was about halfway across the field, I rushed to her side and grabbed her waist, putting my sweaty face on her cheek to make her shriek. I let go of her when she let out a squeal.

She wriggled and giggled as she called out "Henry."

I reached my hands all the way down to her bottom and scooped her up from there. Instantaneously, her legs curled around my waist, and there, at that point, she appeared to fit like a glove, almost as if she were custom-made for me. If you don't want me to catch up to you, Mrs. Williams, you're going to have to get better at running faster. I made a joke.

She gave me a smirk while shaking her head and encircled her arms around my neck. "Oh, I wanted you to capture me, believe me," the speaker said. She hushed me in an alluring manner as she brushed her lips against mine.

In an effort to make up for lost time, I gave her a passionate kiss and savored every second of it. It had been difficult to see her today in class and in the hallways. I was frustrated that I was unable to communicate with her and take her hand whenever I desired to do so. I opened my mouth to give her a passionate kiss as she ran her tongue over my upper lip, and I remember feeling so incredibly aroused that it was hard to believe it wasn't a dream. I turned around and kissed her as I made my way back to the guys, and she pulled her hands out of my hair and pressed herself against me as she did so.

"Stop talking such nonsense!" The coach yelled all the way across the field. I could clearly hear the entire squad making jokes about hissing and booing each other. As Samantha pulled back and blushed like crazy, I couldn't help but smile. She made a motion with her legs that suggested she was going to get down, so I put my hand on her thigh and wrapped it back around me, making sure not to let her get away from me.

She gave me a grin before pressing her own forehead against mine. She mumbled the words "I love you Henry" as her eyes burned into me. "I love you Henry."

"I love you, Samantha bear, just as much," I said to her.

As we approached the other people, I became aware that Andy was staring at me in an odd manner. Oh crap, he actually believes that Samantha is my sister. Laughing to myself, I realized that it probably does look a little strange having her wrapped all around me in this position.
