Iris's POV.
"Yes, my love." I held my Head.
"Why is your voice like Russell?" I asked he didn't say a word, I inhaled more, it was Rupert's scent. "Rupert, please put on the light, I am getting scared, and let's just go join the others, I could hear the music, the claiming will soon start."
"Come on, let's stay for a while." He pulled my hand, it was confusing, the sound of the voice was Russell but the smell was that of Rupert, it's confusing and even his arms were on my wrist didn't give me that spark.
"Iris, you have to stop inhaling that substance, this is not Rupert, is..." Before Sally could finish her words, something like smoke filled the room and my body temperature grew hot, I don't know but I felt some sensation run through my veins, if I didn't get out of here, I am afraid, my body might no longer be mine.
I jerk my hand off Russell, now it's obvious the man is Russell, not Rupert, what the heck did he want from me, I rushed to the door, grabbing its knob, my concentration was on the door, all I wanted was to open it and get out of the place, but to no avail.
"Please open the door." I pleaded with him, and he moved closer to me and pressed his body on my back.
"Oh dear, why do you want to get out of my scent, don't you want me to claim you?"
"Rupert?"
"Yes."
"Don't let him fool you, he is not Rupert?" Sally growls in my head. "Just hold your breath, till I am able to connect Rupert's through mindlink." Sally asked that I hold my breath, I tried to hold my breath but the man, and to think Russell was dangerously close and he was sent shivering into my system and my blood pressure increased, my heart throbbed, the bead of sweat on my forehead increase and I couldn't hold my breath anymore.
"Iris breathe.' he said and then I snorted, it was like I inhaled more of the substance, but it was too late because my desire was two times hotter, I wanted him, I don't know if it's the blue moon that is making me hotter or the substance I inhale.
He jerked me, causing me to fall to his chest, his breath fanning my neck, sending another run of pleasure, Into my system.
"Whoever you are, make it stop?" I snarled.
"Stop yelling, just tell me what you want me to do to you?"
"It's Rupert." Suddenly the voice no longer sounds like Russell but it's like Rupert, not just the smell of his scent but the voice is the same, what is going on, is like I am hallucinating.
I grabbed him, circling my hand on his neck.
"Touch me." I growled
"Stop growling at me, you are at my mercy and only me could do whatever I wish, right now, you will do everything I asked you to do if you want me to help you." I pressed my lips together as I tried to control my urge to jump on him, my arousal filled the room.
"What do you want?" I growl. "Speak, don't keep me waiting." I grabbed his shirt.
"I want you to reject Rupert as your mate."
"What?" I growled pushing him from me. I know I am burning, I am standing in a thin line, I wanted him, even though he is not Rupert and the substance is unbearable, the bond between me and Rupert Is making me see the imposter, and Rupert, I know, will never ask me to reject him. "Who are you?"
"Does it matter? All I need from you is to reject Rupert and I will make this heat leave your body."
"I can't reject Rupert, and why did you want me to reject you?" Confusion was written all over my face, he pulled my hand and I found some spark between us, I pushed into the dark room, Sally wasn't helping me, she was too focused, in mindlink the supposed Rupert.
I know it's my fate, I was careless and stupid if I had listened to Sally, we wouldn't have ended up here, I wouldn't have been battling with this stranger who has Rupert smell but not my beloved.
"Are you going to reject me now?"
"Rupert, I can't, I don't want to live apart from you." I managed to speak.
"Then your heat will not be put out." Tears drop in my eyes, as the sensation increases and my desire for the opposite sex gets higher, I know I can't take it anymore but I have to endure a little more till I can get my Rupert not this imposter.
"Sally, have you been able to reach his wolf?" I managed to speak with my wolf, but Sally shook her tail, it only meant Rupert was unavoidable.
"Iris, you have to try not to give in, Russell can't touch you till you are still mate to Rupert, if he does Rupert will know that something is wrong and he is going to search for you and Russell is a coward, he doesn't want that, he is never going to let Rupert have his head on a plate."
"What do want me to do Sally, I can't hold it longer, my arousal has filled the room and my desire is at its limit, I am afraid if I don't get out of here, Russell will have what he wants." This time, tears fall from my eyes, It's obvious that the man is not my mate, he is not Rupert, I don't know what he did to make me smell Rupert in him but at this point that isn't my problem, I only want to get out of here and be with Rupert, I want him to claim me and no one else, letting Russell touch me will lead to him claiming me.
"Come on don't be stubborn reject Rupert and let all this disappear?"
"If I reject Rupert will you take me out of here?" I asked with gritted teeth, trying to suppress the heat in my system.
"Of course, I will have to let you go, not after having my way with you." Saying that my eyes turned red, I knew that this substance in this place, if I keep inhaling it, I will not only want him but my strength will slowly leave me and he is going to manipulate me to do what he wants, he just wanted me to inhale more of it, so I could be at his Mercy.
"Iris, don't you want me to be your alpha, I am better than Rupert, just reject him instead of having this pain and torture you are going through. You and I can rule over your pack."
"Tell me, are you Russell?"
"If I tell you the truth, are you going to accept me?" He asked.
"No, I will still not accept you because you are nothing compared to my Rupert."
"Oh stop being dramatic, Rupert is a whore, did you know the reason he asked that you have your claiming today, it's because he already has an heir, Celina is pregnant for..."
"Ah," I growl The mere mention of the word pregnant, pushed him off me, suddenly my claws elongated and I pierced them into my throat. "I would rather die than have you possess my body."
