Iris's POV.
I never thought this day was going to come, where we are going to finally have the two-pack merge and my Luna coronation, although Rupert seems to be happy I know deep down he is worried and bothered. I watched him as the omega helped him groom for the ceremony.
"Is everything alright?" I asked, he raised his head and looked at me
"Everything is fine." He forced a smile, I gestured for the maid to leave us as I moved closer to Rupert. The omega didn't think twice before leaving us, I cupped his face and made him look at me, I understood that he was worried that he might not be a good alpha to both Pack, but to me, he would, he had been doing well for the past months, I am sure he will. "I know you will be the best alpha to both Pack."
He smiled also cupping my face. "With you by my side, I am sure that will come true." He kissed my forehead.
"Of course, I will always be by your side," I said putting every other thing left to prepare him for the big day in place. I take a step back while I admire the man who has fulfilled all my desires. "I think you are good to go."
He smiled pulling my hand with him, today will start a new chapter in our life, and today we will finally achieve our dream of merging the two packs and also giving them the leadership that they deserve.
Rupert and I enter the throne, moving with grace and confidence. Inside the main hall, we have just a few council members from other packs and also from both Packs, my beta Drake, former alpha of Wildfang shadow Pack was there and also Rupert's beta Mason, gamma Lauren, delta Campbell, with a few other important person were there.
After beta Mason announced that the two packs are officially one and that the pack will now be renamed and called Wild Gold Pack. And that I am also the mate of alpha Rupert, the elder places the crown on Rupert's head.
I was just there standing at a distance even when they announced that I would be his Luna. I watched everyone kneel before him and bow before him while swearing their oath of loyalty and then they howl.
Rupert stretched out his hand to me, pulling me closer to himself. "I know this coming a bit late after I have claimed you but I still think I should ask. " Will be my Luna and rule beside me like an alpha?"
"Of course." I didn't blink before saying yes.
He turned and grabbed Luna's crown, the crown was made with diamond, he placed the crown on my head and turned me to the little crowd, an alpha always has a lot of mates, his fated mate and chosen mate, the fact that one is the fated mate doesn't guarantee that you will be the Luna of the pack but here, Rupert wanted me, not just as his fated mate but as his Luna
"I hereby present to you all, the Luna of Wild Gold Pack?" His voice was loud and everyone howled falling in front of us, Should I say this is the happiest day of my life, so many congratulations words were what we heard from different sides of the hall, After spending some little time in the hall, Rupert grabbed my hand and start leading me out.
"Where are we going?"
"To help you with your arousal?"
"What?" I wanted to protest then I noticed that my arousal was smelling already and with a little delay it would feel the room, It's a good thing that Rupert had already claimed me.
As soon as we got to the chamber, Rupert shut the door behind us. He took off the crown from my head and his as he captured my lips in his, having a heated kiss, I was surprised by his list, was it his lust or mine, I noticed that my arousal always drove him nuts, and he is trying to satisfy me, even though he is been careful knowing that we are having our pup, slowly he undid the robe that was used to tie my gown at the back. The gown fell to the floor, and I stepped out of it, as we kissed, Rupert undid his buttons.
It didn't take long before our bodies met the bed, with our body press against each other, I pushed my hand into his hair. My finger entangled his hair. With each move, more clothes were thrown out of our body. We ended up on our birthday suit. I didn't want things to go slow, and I am happy that Rupert was at my pace, there were no words said all we did was kiss, touch, and enjoy each other warmly. No matter, how many times, Rupert has me, I will never get tired of the way he touches or kisses me.
We both stared at the ceiling, panting heavily as we pulled from each other, it was fast and enjoyable.
"Are you alright?" I nodded to him, Rupert flicked his tongue across his lips and looked at me.
"Hope I didn't hurt you or the pups, I only want to satisfy you and your wolf, I hope she approves of me." He asked while looking at me, I smiled tugging his hand.
"If there is anyone that has loved you before me, it's Sally, she is the one that has brought your scent to my notice that hot chocolate scent with a misfire of coffee, who did you think made me inhale that?"
"Can we meet her?"
"Of course, one of these days, after the arrival of the pup, we are going to have a good run." He smiled, pressing soft kisses on my forehead. I have seen Rupert's wolf, a thousand times, is just that my wolf hasn't come close to him.
"We will wait?" He said, smiling sweetly at me but suddenly he frowned, I knew that look was about the pack.
"You can leave, I will just be here, or better still go to Ariana and Cathy."
"I will ask Lauren to accompany you?"
"Do you.."
"Don't worry about the man, he doesn't have a mate or a pup, so he is free like a bird?" I tittered at his words, I know Lauren is used to those three mocking him because he is without a mate.
I watched as Rupert groomed himself, to leave he looked all happy. As a new alpha, I know a lot of pressure will be on him and to think it's not just one pack, but two with pack members more than a hundred, will be a lot of pressure on him but what can I do, I will just sit here and give him all the support that he might need to be a good alpha to the both Pack.
Immediately Rupert left, I swung my legs off the bed, and I dressed in simple wear to go to the former Luna Oscar quarter, Staying there was less stressful to me, Ariana smiled as soon as she saw me.
"Luna Iris." Female beta Ariana called. "Why are you here, is the ceremony over already?" I pinned my lips together.
"I guess they left before it's over to eat each other." Cathy said as she sniffed me.
"You this naughty girl, who told you that?" She pulled Ariana close to me, Ariana Titter, and her laughter made me inhale myself, in a hurry to get to Ariana and Cathy, I forgot to wash up Rupert's scent from me.
"Stop teasing me and come with me?" I blushed
"Where are we going?"
"To the library, we need to read about politics and the affairs of the Pack." Cathy and Ariana nodded to my words, we were about to go out when Celina pulled the door.
"Where are you all going?"
"To the library, come on, you should come with us, you have been all by yourself all these days." I try to persuade her and sound friendly.
"To do what at the library?"
"Let's study about the pack affairs." Ariana said while Cathy went mute.
"Why? I am nothing but the mistress of a traitor." Celina's words were cold.
"Celina Is..."
"Come on alpha Iris, there is no need to force yourself on someone who doesn't want to love you." Cathy said pulling my hand and leaving Celina behind, I don't think there is anything I could do to change Celina's view about me.
