Iris's POV
The moment we shut the door of the bathroom, I immediately grabbed Rupert's collar pushed him against the closed door, and desperately kissed him.
Rupert was taken unaware, he wasn't expecting that I would pounce on him and my move was so bold, although I was overwhelmed with Rupert's words back there. I needed him and he had smelled our arousal.
I did that for a few minutes, when I pulled from that quick kiss, I was already panting and Rupert was just standing there blankly, those strength where did they come from, I know I am no longer that weak she-wolf but the strength, I just possess wasn't the one I had back then.
"Are you feeling better now?" He asked, caressing my cheeks, I grabbed his hand, pressing it more on my cheeks.
"You promised to spend your eternity with me right?" He nodded. "You promised to love me not because we are fated?" He nodded again. "You promised to be a good mate and father to me and our pup right?
"Yes, and I am not going back on my words." He gave those reassuring words.
"Rupert, you could smell my arousal right?" He nodded again still pinning his lips. "Then kiss me...make the heat stop," Rupert smirked, smashing his lips against mine, as we kiss, whenever we kiss, it's always different from the ones we have shared, his kisses were hard, savaging, and demanding. This is what I love about Rupert, he knows how to satisfy me.
It didn't take long for our arousal to fill the bathroom and I didn't notice that I was already sitting on top of the sink and my back was pressed against the mirror, my fingers went to his hair, as I clutched them between my fingers, and my legs wrapped around his waist, the grip was so strong like one restricting his prey.
Iris, we need to stop..." He forced himself off me, and he groaned, I watched his breath that didn't stop causing his chest to rise and fall, I pulled his hand forcing my lips on him again, and yet another round of heated kisses, he pulled from me. "Iris, we can't do this here."
"But this is our house and..."
"Sh! We are having a party down there." I try to snap out of the desires in me, even when I try to remind Sally that we are not supposed to do that, she seems not to understand, she is craving for Rupert and Vernon.
"It wouldn't take long, please." I pout, taking off his button. I could see Rupert's frustration, still, he gave in to my demand, and we ate each other in the bathroom. "You see, I told you, it wouldn't take long." He smiled as he groomed himself while I fixed myself.
When we returned to the party everyone was enjoying the delicious meal before them while they were enjoying each other company and the music playing in the background was lovely. I stood at the side while I watched Rupert, bonding with others, it was a lovely sight.
I never thought this day we come, when I would have my mate and these lovely friends who are family now, in one place chitchatting, eating, and drinking together, for the first time, I saw Celina involved in the conversation, she was not that grumpy.
"Come ladies let's leave the guys, we need to attend to the pup." Former Luna Oscar announced while we all stood leaving the males, Cathy noticed that Alice was still sitting, she was feeling a bit awkward around us.
"Come with us, Alice, you should learn how to care for a child, you never can tell when you and Lauren will have your child."
"Cathy!" Lauren called in frustration, she raised her hand, pulling Alice with us, and now every male gaze was on Lauren.
"Lauren, don't you think it's time, you get a mate, since the goddess hasn't given you one, or have you already found your chosen mate in that human girl?" Rupert's voice was low but I could hear him. After the birth of Todd, I think I developed some unique hearing skills that made me able to hear the faintest sound
Rupert's hand that was placed on his shoulder, was pushed off by him, and the naughty Rupert put it back. "Come on tell us, is she your girlfriend, you know, since I relief you of the job of being Iris guard something else is occupying you, I noticed you were going out more but you didn't introduce her to us, is she the one taking your time."
"There is nothing to introduce, she is not my girlfriend and I don't think she will want to be with someone like me?" His voice was stern and Mason suddenly flashed that naughty grin, Mason and Rupert seemed to be getting naughtier by the day.
"Scared," Mason said as Lauren glared at him, he didn't realize his words were what made Mason feel that he was scared and that he might be in love with the human girl and it's the fact, he is scared that the human girl might run away when she sees his fangs and claws. 'Are you in love with her?" Mason asked.
Lauren moved his gaze in our direction, he smiled sweetly at Alice who was so focused on the babies that their hands were holding on to each other, except Celina's baby who had cupped his hand even when Todd tried to hold on to him.
"I think she will mix up with the ladies fast and will make a good mate, right Drake?" Campbell added.
Gamma Lauren choked on his use of words mate, Campbell is becoming spoiled by the day and is acting like Mason and Rupert now.
"Can you stop talking nonsense, she is still very young." Everyone laughed at his words, if she was to be a she-wolf, she must have met her mate, some even meet their mate at sixteen those that have their wolf early.
"I don't think so, Have you forgotten that your sister, Ariana was mate to Mason at sixteen and they were already lovers before they even found their wolf and realized that they were mates," Rupert added. Lauren didn't say a word, she seemed so lost in his thoughts that he didn't give any answers.
"Joke apart, are you going to pursue her?" Rupert sounded serious yet he was playful. "Maybe, someone else should pursue her." Lauren's face crumpled hearing Rupert's words and that beta of mine had to add fuel to the fire.
"Stop acting that way, she probably goes to school and there are so many hot girls in the human world and you said the guys there are not like most male wolves that will want to wait for their mate. And with that beauty, every single male will want her."
This time, Rupert's words made him silent and he stared more at Alice, he could admit, that the young lady was beautiful and she would make a good mate, her laughter, genuine smile, and friendliness were something every wolf would want to be greeted by every morning from his mate.
But something was off, her laughter was different, she had been taking the wine made for the wolf, and now the thought of how she was going to react when the wolf wine started working in her system, I guess Lauren will have to see how troublesome human females are than that of a she-wolf.
As the guys watched Lauren pull her out, Rupert smiled.
"Aren't they adorable?" Rupert comment. "They are a perfect couple."
"They will make a powerful couple like you and Iris." Rupert turned and looked at me, our eyes met, and he had zeroed me from the crowd.
