Later that day.......
"Babe, Are you okay? You've been distracted the whole ride"Zeke says to her staring at her with a curious and concerned look on his face.
“What? Who me? Am fine” Blair stuttered, turning from the limo window and looking blankly at Zeke faking a smile.
"You sure you're okay?He asks again
“Am fine i'm sorry if I seemed out of it, was distracted because I had issues with my online classes" Blair replied lying swiftly to him as She reached for his hand. A part of her felt guilty for not telling him straight up about her new Discovery but she definitely wasn't ready to scare him just as how she was scared right now.
“Are you sick?” Zeke asked. “You look a little pale.”
“I’m fine,” Blair told him. “Just under the weather but i'll be fine.
Blair thought about telling him about the positive pregnancy test, but decided to wait until she had it confirmed by a doctor. Her appointment was in a couple of days. She was still so early in her pregnancy that she didn’t want to get his hopes up yet.
She didn’t want him to think about his business troubles tonight, either, so, she was waiting until the doctor confirmed what the pregnancy test told her. It was better for everyone that way.
“Oh look, we’re here,” Blair announced, pointing to the shopping mall. Zeke had came home excited that a new branch had been opened for their luxury brand jewelry store in one of the most popular and exclusive building mall in New York City. His team has been working to acquire a space there and they were successful with the launch...
As the one who headed the project, Zeke definitely had to be in attendance for the launch. Blair was also very glad for the distraction. The way Zeke was looking at her made her nervous. She was going to have to focus on him tonight and not worry about a thing at least for now.
The limo pulled up to the front of the mall. It was the most highest and tallest building filled with different kind of stores to shop from, the mall isn't just a normal shopping mall. It's filled with only luxury brands like Bulgari and we all know it's an Italian luxury brand known for its jewellery, watches, fragrances, accessories, and leather goods. Brands like Cartier,Hermès, Yves Saint Laurent, Fenty beauty, Rare beauty only the best of the best brands can keep a spot in this building. Blair had heard about it but never had the luxury to check it out or even shop from them ..
Wasn't expecting Zeke's abstruct invitation but she couldn't say no. Although she never did ask the name of the newly launched jewelry brand. The limo door opened and Blair stepped out. The smells of the entrance alone smelled and stinked of money and red roses..
“This way,” Zeke said, taking her hand. He guided her to a private entrance and then over to an elevator that looked like gold bars which reflected her face. Two security guards checked them out before allowing them inside. From there, they went straight up and straight to the store. On their way they passed numerous luxury brands and each shop filled with customers who dressed like they were attending a fundraiser...
A woman and what looked like her secretary breezed past them. The poor girls hand were filed with lots of shopping bags, the name of the brand written boldly..
She followed Zeke as he took the lead. Finally they reached a particular shop. The entrance was grandly designed with roses although the name was covered, Blair had never attended an event like this so she had no idea how things worked exactly. She was definitely feeling woozy and confused since she felt out of place but she tried to support Zeke and be at her best..
“Wow,” Blair whispered, standing in the middle of the shop. Beautiful jewelries were all decked out in glass pane view. You could see from the a distance these weren't just ordinary jewelries. These jewelries were made of precious stones...
A few people were also in attendance and even reporters, Zeke excused himself because he had to do a quick interview. Blair watched as the reporters immediately swarm him as he left her side, Blair walked around staring at everything that was laid out. In each section, beautiful well dressed female employees were standing across the counter with a big smile ready to sell as much as they could...
A part of Blair felt uncomfortable especially as she stared at the watches, necklaces, wedding rings, all enlayed in precious diamonds. All this wealth seemed foreign no matter how much she tries to get used to it..
There was one ring that did catch her eyes, it was small and intricately beautiful. Simple but yet classy. As if compelled she walked towards it, staring at it through the glass mesmerized, it seemed small and beautiful but a part of her knew it would be super super expensive.
"Hey"A familiar voice says calling her out from her trance...
"Zeke"She gasps out in shock holding her chest as her heart beats really fast in shock..
"You just scared the living daylight out of me"Blair says laughing nervously.
"Are you done?She asks are eyes moving from the bunch of reporters exploring and prancing around the place..
"Yes. It's almost time for the reveal"He says his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Ma'am would you like me to bring out the ring"The pretty sales personal says, she must have seen her gawking at the ring..
"No no"Blair stammered.
Zeke stared at her for a second smiling...
"It's time for the reveal"He says loudly so everyone could hear. Grabbing her close to him they walked out to the entrance and he was handed a scissor to cut the rope enshrouding the name they had walked past that had been covered...
She grinned at him and stepped back. This was his time after all, the reporters gathered around him, the guests and people around with their glass raised watched as he counted till he cut it off.
In styled bold written letters the word "Blaire" was engraved on the entrance. There were tv screens around and immediately they lit up showing Blaire jewelries. In all her years her name had never sounded so luxurious..
Blair had no idea when tears began to slip from her eyes. Her mouth were open in shock. "Oh my God Zeke"She whispers in a croaked voice as she turned to him and then back at the evidence of what was displayed in front of her...
"Oh my God what did you do"She says, her hands flew to her mouth. Her heart beating so rapidly..
"This is for you Blair. I want your name on everybody's lips to be as luxurious as you, I want to remove the stigma of people saying rubbish words about you when they know nothing about your beautiful soul"Zeke continues his eyes filled with real emotions making Blair even more convinced as to if this was real or fake.
Maybe she was dreaming
"I want when people think of you they should see and think of precious stones because you are precious to me"He says stepping closely Infront of her immediately She leaned over and kissed his cheek bursting into tears..
“Blair since you decided to put your trust in me, I hope you're ready for forever"He says as he points to the screen and immediately Blair eyes falls on yet another letters...
Blair frowned slightly, but looked to where he pointed. In big letters she slowly read the words that she knew she’d never forget.

“Zeke?” Blair turned from the TV to find Zeke down on one knee. He had a small black box open to her with the same diamond she had been mesmerized with few minutes ago .
“Blair Monore will you marry me?” he asked, a confident grin on his face.
Blair stood there for a moment in shock. She hadn’t seen this coming. Zeke had been so comfortable and completely at ease all evening. He hadn’t looked even the slightest bit nervous about proposing.
He wasn’t nervous because she was contractually obligated to say yes.
There was no doubt of her answer, so there were no nerves. This was a business transaction, albeit a pleasant one. But why the hell did he have to make it real, so real and romantic..
Even going through the stress of naming an entire billion dollar brand after her. She’d known from the moment she signed that contract what was coming. They’d never agreed to love. This was all about appearances and saving his image and company..
Soon she became aware of the people's shock and the reporters didn't waste anytime flashing their lights and cameras that Blair thought she might go blind.
Suddenly her excitement disappeared and the fact that this wasn’t real hurt so much?
Why did she want it to be real?
“blair? Will you be mine?” Zeke prompted. He held up the ring a little higher to catch the sparkle. It was then that she realized she had fallen for him.
“Yes,” she said, putting on a big, bright smile. “Oh my god, YES!”
She could play her part just like him. She could pretend that this proposal was a total surprise and that she was over the moon.
It was why she was getting paid. She could keep her feelings to herself. Just because she was falling for Zeke, just because she wished that he could have been a little nervous like her , didn’t mean she couldn’t smile.
Suddenly her harsh reality crumbled and she heard the crowd around them go wild. Zeke carefully slid the ring onto her finger, kissed her, and then held her in his arms. The tears in her eyes were happy tears, at least according to the people watching. No one would ever know that she was crying because she suddenly felt hurt..
Suddenly everything felt bittersweet and it made things even worse when he then whispered. “You’re doing great,”
Everyone totally believes us.”Blair felt her heart crack at his words. Her heart broke into a million pieces, there was no one to blame but herself.
She fell inlove first and to make things worse she was pregnant now!
“Yeah, great.” Blair sniffled and was glad she didn’t have to look him in the eyes right now. She just tucked her head into his shoulder like she was overwhelmed with emotion. At least that wasn’t far from the truth.
Blair suddenly felt a sense of dread and fear overtake her, For a moment, Blair let herself believe that this was real. That he’d done the whole naming the brand with her name thingy for her. To think she has felt special and the proposal simply for her, and not for the publicity it would bring his company. Deep down, she knew this was all a show, but she wanted it to be real.
She looked over at the handsome man beside her as he smiled for the camera.
