"I was weak because the wolf inside me was trying to force his self out," I told Theresa as I sat on the couch, clutching my head in agony.
Theresa, looked at me with concern. "I'm sorry, Miranda. I wish there was something I could do to help you."
I groaned, feeling the pain intensify. "Is there really nothing we can do?"
Theresa shook her head. "I'm afraid not. The only way to stop this, is for Blake to die. Once he's gone, you'll have full control of yourself and the power inside you."
I gritted my teeth at the mention of Blake's name. He was the only one who could control the werewolf inside me, but he had used that power to manipulate and hurt me. I couldn't take it anymore.
"If killing Blake is what it takes to give me peace of mind, then I'm ready to do it," I declared, standing up from the couch.
Theresa nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I'll gather the pack and we'll take care of it. But you can't come with us, Miranda. Blake might try to hurt you."
I knew she was right. As much as I wanted to take revenge on Blake myself, I couldn't risk my safety. The Black Bird Wolf couldn't just go down because of this.
"I understand. But make sure you do it quickly," I said firmly.
Theresa nodded and left the room to gather the pack. As I waited for the news of Blake's demise, I knew that this was the only way to
regain control of myself and protect my pack.
After a few minutes, I got a report that Blake was no longer in the cabin and nobody seemed to be there anymore. I was furious and asked myself where Blake could be now. Theresa suggested that he might be in the city, taking advantage of Mondragon's company's financial issues. I realized that Blake was the kind of person to use such an opportunity, and I couldn't let him overthrow me.
"I think we need to move back to the city and buy the shares of Mondragon's company," I told Theresa. "It's time to deal with Derick and Sophia. I've let them stay in this world for too long. It's time we kill them. And since they are the true real mate in all the werewolf generations, it will be an honor if we kill them. That will make all the other werewolves scared of black bird wolves."
Theresa nodded in agreement. "But we have to be careful. Derick is very powerful, and we don't know what tricks Sophia might have up her sleeve."
"I know," I replied. "That's why we have to plan everything carefully. We can't afford any mistakes. We need to strike when they least expect it."
Theresa smiled. "I know just the person who can help us with more information about where they're staying. His name is Vincent, and he's the best strategist I know."
"Get him on the phone," I ordered.
Theresa nodded and took out her phone, dialing Vincent's number. After a few minutes of conversation, she hung up and turned to me.
"Vincent is willing to help us," she said. "He wants to meet with us tomorrow to discuss the plan."
"Good," I said, feeling a surge of excitement. "Tomorrow, we'll take the first step towards taking over Mondragon's company and killing Derick and Sophia before moving to Blake."

"Mia, please contact Isaac right now, and tell him to come to the house right away," I said urgently. Mia nodded and quickly made the call.
I was feeling restless as the minutes ticked by, waiting for Isaac to arrive. My mind was preoccupied with thoughts of how we would outsmart Derick and Sophia, and take control of Mondragon's company. When Isaac finally arrived, I wasted no time in getting down to business.
Isaac arrived within a few minutes, and I briefed him on the situation. "Mondragon's company shares are on sale right now, and I want you to help us buy it with a hidden identity, just as we discussed," I explained.
Isaac agreed without hesitation, and immediately got on the phone to place a call to Mondragon's company. He introduced himself as a potential buyer and expressed his interest in purchasing the 40% share that they were looking to sell.
After a few moments of silence, the person on the other end of the line agreed to the offer. They promised to send an email to Isaac with the details of the meeting, and he hung up the call.
I was filled with excitement at the prospect of finally getting the upper hand over Derick. I turned to Mia and asked her to continue trying to contact Mr. Sylvester for updates on the company.
"Regarding Anita, how is she doing now?" I asked Mia.
Mia replied that Anita was cooperating and giving her information. "She informed me that Sophia is also trying to buy the share with a hidden identity, but they did not allow anybody to know," Mia said.
I frowned at the news. "Why would Sophia want to buy the share? Why can't she just give the money to Derick?" I asked.
Mia told me that Anita did not have all the details, but she will continue to persuade her for more information.
I nodded and said, "Keep pushing her until she gives us the full information we need. We need to know everything that's going on so we can stay ahead of Derick and Sophia."
With that, we continued to strategize and plan our next moves, determined to come out on top in this power struggle.

As I sat beside Derick, my phone rang and I answered to a call from the company. "Hello," I said, "what's the update?"
"We found a buyer for the share," the person on the other end of the line said. "He's willing to buy the whole 40%."
"Who is this buyer?" I asked.
"His name is Mr. Isaac," the person replied. "We did a background check on him and found out that he belongs to no pack, but he's a good werewolf with no criminal record."
I raised an eyebrow. "No criminal record? How can someone who doesn't belong to any pack not have a criminal record and still be alive?"
The person on the other end of the line chuckled. "He's not hiding anything, ma'am. We did a thorough check on him."
I hung up the call and Derick asked me what the call was about. I explained the situation to him and expressed my concern that we should be the ones buying the share, not someone from outside.
But Derick was desperate to save the company. "Maria isn't picking up our calls," he said. "We need a buyer, or this company will fall down. And I can't allow that to happen."
I reluctantly agreed to go with the buyer, but I knew something was off. How could someone just buy the whole 40% share? I made a mental note to find out more about this Mr. Isaac without letting Derick know.
Later, I asked Anita what she thought about Derick's decision. She suggested that we should let the person buy the share since Derick was cool with it. I expressed my concern about potential betrayal, but Anita reminded me that Derick had given her a chance when she had no pack and nowhere to go.
"People betrayed Alpha Derick before," she said. "But that doesn't mean we shouldn't give someone else a chance to help us. If Derick can give someone like me a chance, then we should give someone else a chance too."
I considered her words and agreed to go along with Derick's decision. "If that's what will make Derick happy," I said, "then I'll do it."
