“Dad, what are you talking about?” Sophia acted like she was confused when Robert slapped Erin again. Sophia pushed Robert, and Robert accidentally slapped her face which made Robert panicked and come closer to Sophia.
“Sophia, I'm sorry, honey. Please, forgive dad, I didn't mean to slap your face.” Robert's tone was so sweet, which made Erin grit her teeth in so much jealousy. Erin angrily gave Sophia a murderous glare which made Sophia notice it, and act that she didn't see it.
“Robert, what are you talking about? Maybe, it's a hoax.” Amelia was trying to calm Robert, and changed his mind about Erin.
Amelia felt stressed because of her daughter. She couldn't understand why Erin kept ruining her image. She couldn't help her whenever Erin had problems that they needed to fix.
“Dad, I didn't do anything wrong here. It was Blossom, who went here and created a scene. Why are you blaming me as if I was the one who pushed myself to react violently?” Erin was so furious and stood up. She removed the IV fluids in her hand, which made Amelia shrieked in so much fear.
“Erin, what are you doing? You are not perfectly fine. Sophia, darling, call her doctor.” Amelia panicked when Erin fell on the ground. She rushed towards Erin, and Sophia left so she could call the doctor.
Sophia didn't call the doctor too fast, she wasn't bothered anyway because Erin acted that she was the true victim of the story.
“Robert, why are you being like this? Erin is your daughter, too. How could you slap her face multiple times? You used to love her, and now you changed a lot.” Amelia was so heartbroken that she started to grieve because of how Robert treated her daughter. Robert didn't flinched, he even glare at Erin, who was thinking that she finally deceive Robert from the drama.
“I didn't change. It is your daughter, who changed. Amelia, why are you acting that it's my fault why Erin is like this? I gave her everything that she wanted, and even asked someone to give a slot to be a model. I did everything for her, and because of you, our daughter ruined her entire life! You are the one who kept tolerating her actions.” Robert didn't stop himself from blaming Amelia because of what happened to their daughter.
Amelia's mouth parted because she couldn't believe that Robert blamed her for what happened. Slowly, tears formed in her eyes, and she felt her heart clenched.
Robert always tolerated her too. She was more special than Robert's wife, and now it looked like Robert didn't have the same feelings for her. Amelia couldn't believe that Robert would dare to say those words to her after her trials so she could be his wife.
The doctor came, and Sophia followed the doctor behind the doctor's back. Sophia noticed that Amelia was crying while her father tried calming himself. Sophia knew that there was something terrible happened while she was out of the room.
“Erin, I will help you. Don't do this again.” Sophia mumbled, and but she made sure that the doctor would see that she cared for her sister. Erin scoffed, and angrily pushed Sophia's away which made the doctor give her a disgusting look.
“Erin, why are you being like this? I'm worried about you, and you keep pushing me away from you.” Sophia acted that she was hurt, her eyes sparkled in tears which made Robert feel more angry with Erin. While Amelia still couldn't believe that Erin was not working right when Robert was watching. It looked like Erin had the strength to face Robert's madness.
“Erin, how could you do this to your sister? She's your older sister, and all she thinks about is you. Someone told me that she was the one who carried you to the ambulance. I can't believe that you dared to act this way! I'm so disappointed in you.” Robert angrily yelled, and he didn't even mind that there was someone who wasn't their family anymore.
What Robert had been thinking was Erin did too much, and he didn't like how stubborn Erin was.
Amelia flinched when Robert left the room, and angrily closed the door. She was astounded because it was her first time to see Robert being mad like that. Sophia acted that she was shocked too, and glanced at Amelia.
“Auntie, I will talk to my father. Don't worry. He's stressed, and I know that he didn't mean to say those words to my sister.” Sophia glimpsed at Erin, and caressed her hair. The doctor had witnessed how Erin pushed Sophia again.
“Sophia, darling. I'm thankful that you are concern about Erin. I'm sorry if she treated you like this.” Amelia felt irritated because of her spoiled daughter which made Sophia shook her head, and smiled.
Sophia said, “Auntie, you don't need to apologize to my sister. I understand why she's acting like this. She's stressed because of those useless articles. Let's not add the stress that she was feeling today.”
Amelia nodded at Sophia, and came closer to her daughter. Erin hugged her tightly which made Amelia feel pity for her daughter. “Yes, I still can't believe that there are still some articles. I asked someone to prevent it from spreading, but it looked like our technology was advancing.”
“Yes, Auntie. Don't worry. I think Erin will not do this anymore.” Sophia acted so soft when it came to Erin. “I will talk with Dad about her inheritance. I will ensure that Erin will still get the company whatever it causes.”
“Oh, darling. You are so sweet. Is it too fine of you that my daughter is the one who will get the company?”
“Auntie, it's fine. I trust Erin that she won't betray me. I know that blood is thicker than water.”
“Oh, of course, darling. Thank you so much. Your sister will appreciate it.”
“That company is owned by my father so it is understandable that it is Erin who will get the company, and not Storm. I think if Storm gets the company, we will not be good anymore because of Uncle.”
Amelia was stunned. She thought the same way. She didn't know why Storm's father wanted the company so much, but once Storm got the company, she was sure she would be poor again.
Amelia took a deep breath. “I agreed with you, darling.”
Sophia left the room and asked Amelia if she needed something to buy outside. Amelia told her to buy some food for them.
“Mom, you didn't love me anymore? Sophia, is your daughter now?” Erin couldn't stop herself from asking Amelia. She couldn't believe that Amelia was so sweet to Sophia in front of her.
Amelia laughed with disgust. “Erin, you are the only daughter that I ever have. We needed to use Sophia because she is your father's weakness. Aside from that, she is so gullible. Did you see her phone on the table? She forgot to bring it. She's so stupid.” Amelia angrily took the phone and tried to open Sophia's phone, but there was a passcode.
The passcode that she needed was sixteen digits which made her feel her headache. She tried to open it several times, but she failed.
“Mom, you should put that down. Sophia might notice that you are trying to open her useless phone.” Erin felt annoyed because Amelia kept trying to open Sophia's phone.
While in the car, Sophia was watching at her pad. She saw Amelia and how she tried to access her phone.
Of course, she wasn't stupid. She intentionally left her phone to hear what they were saying behind her back. She knew Amelia wanted to use her to get the company because she was the legitimate child.
Sophia laughed so hard that she almost coughed. She was so pleased to hear what they might be planning, and she would make sure that Erin would lose her mind to thinking that she was now the favorite child of Amelia.
“Mom, stop wasting your time checking the stupid phone. Why don't we plan something against Blossom? I want to kill her as soon as possible. Once I get the company, Leo will marry me soon.” Sophia's attention came to Erin when she heard what Erin had been telling Amelia.
“Okay, we will talk about it. For now, why don't you recover first? Don't worry; I supported you to get Leo whatever you want.”
Sophia felt disgusted because she couldn't understand why Erin was so obsessed with Leo. Sophia might think she needed to inform Blossom as soon as possible.
After several months,
“Oh, it's a twin. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Fontaine.” Brea announced, which made Blossom widen her eyes in shock.
Leo's face paled. He gulped because he remembered that giving birth to a child was risky, and now Blossom would give birth to twin babies. He wanted to pass out, especially when Brea let them hear their babies' heartbeats.
“Leo! We can still have a big happy family. We can have six babies if I always get pregnant by twins.” Blossom grinned because she was trying to mess with Leo's thoughts. She knew Erin was so mad at himself now and concerned about her.
Brea scowled and shook her head when she heard Blossom was trying to bully her husband. She knew that Leo was scared about Blossom's giving birth because Leo kept asking her about Blossom's condition.
“Yes, Blossom. I didn't know Mr. Fontaine liked having a big happy family.” Brea wanted to add more; she smirked when Leo groaned and caressed Blossom's tummy. Blossom smiled at Brea and winked at her.
“Doctor, my husband wanted to have thirty children. Since he is so rich, I needed to give him thirty children.”
“Shit! Blossom, this isn't funny anymore. Stop it, please.” Leo touched Blossom's face, which made Blossom giggle at him. Leo knew that Blossom was trying to ruin her mood, and he didn't like it because he was always thinking about her safety.
“Oh, I'm just kidding.” Blossom pouted like a child when she noticed how Leo looked so severe. She didn't want Leo to think that something terrible might happen to her.
“I needed to go to the restaurant. Leo, I think you know I love you always, right?” Blossom felt emotional. She was scared at the same time, but she needed to do this.
Leo stopped, and he felt his heart race because he couldn't stop himself from getting worried. Today, he will be having a dinner meeting with Erin's father. He found out that it was Erin who would get the company.
“Blossom, do you want to go with me to the party? I don't want you to think I might go there because of Erin.”
“Baby, I trust you. I want to tell you that you are the only man I ever loved. And I'm happy that you are always with me, and you made me experience how to be loved by you.”
Leo didn't understand everything. He obeyed Blossom when he told him he should go to the dinner meeting with Robert. While in the forum, he tried to call Blossom several times, but Blossom didn't answer. He was worried again.
“Leo, are you okay? It's thirty times that you took your phone and always checked it.” Robert couldn't stop letting Leo know he was watching him. It was his first time seeing Leo act that way.
Leo was always composed and professional, but now it looked like he was worried about something.
“My wife is still not answering her phone. I'm worried about her. I told her that she should answer my call whenever she had some time. She went to the restaurant alone.” Leo sighed and clasped his hand. Erin went to the meeting, smiling as if something pleasant had happened to her.
But while she was walking, Leo's phone rang. He stormed out of the restaurant without asking Robert to leave when he received news that Blossom had an accident. Her car crashed at the cliff.
Society mourned when they found out that Blossom Fontaine was missing.
