I knocked on Katherine’s practice room door and turned the doorknob when there was no answer. I can still remember the last time I was here, I had caught her kissing Robin.
She has a crush on Robin but it all seems like she has put that aside because of Hinn Carlos.
I have no idea who she loves. She has a crush on Robin, but is always with Hinn Carlos and was smiling at Henry when he was introduced by the director. She also has a past with Ryan who she now avoids like flu.
I was glad, at least she knew Robin and I were dating since it wasn’t something new.
I walked in and met Katherine’s stern gaze. "I said thirty minutes and you are just coming now, do you have a habit of making people wait or you just don't know how to be punctual?"
Blah blah blah
I said in my head and walked over to her. "I had something to attend to, can we just start?" I told her and she scoffed.
"We hate each other and I wouldn't let you into my practice room if the director hadn't asked me to do this with you." She crossed her arms around her chest. "So let's respect each other’s time and work this out."
"I am doing that, just waiting for you to proceed," I told her sarcastically, I also know how to be annoying.
Katherine groaned as she walked over to the cabin in her practice room. "You are so annoying."
"I was thinking the other way round," I told her to also settle down on the chair across from her and she rolled her eyes. Perhaps she has nothing annoying to say to me anymore so she turned, taking out her notepad.
"Tell me, what songs do you think of?" She asked me and I was expecting her to do her research and come up with a better one.
"Umm, how about you do the singing and I play the guitar, it's still counted as a performance as long as we both stand there." I shrugged.
"Is the guitar the only thing you can do?" She asked me sarcastically and I narrowed my eyes.
"I can also dance…"
"Not perfectly, am I ruling that out?" She cut me off and sighed.
"I can also sing," I told her honestly and she gave me a sceptical gaze. "You don’t believe me."
"How can I when you suck at dancing, I still doubt you can play the guitar…"
I ran my hand through my hair, I hate it when people doubt me when u say I was good at singing and playing the guitar, I was not confident in dancing but I was confident in singing and if that had been the competition we used in picking the female lead then I would be the female lead instead of her, not like I wanted to be.
I glanced around the room and spotted a guitar in the room, I got to my feet and took hold of it, settling back on the chair I looked directly at her face.
"What are you trying to do now?" She questions and I strike the guitar with my eyes still on her as I saw her eyes dilated as she looked down at my hand on the guitar string.
"I am proving to you what I am good at, so listen." I played a few notes with the guitar and elevated them as I sang in my high pitch. I smiled when I saw the astonished expression on Katherine’s face.
It was the same look on Robin's face the first time he heard me sing and I couldn’t stop smiling as I played. I was never shy when I handled the guitar and I rocked.
"How was it?" I ended and waited for what she would say and for a while Katherine was silent as she stared at me. "Katherine," I called her attention back to me and she blinked.
"Well, you are good, I must admit." She said the words and glanced down at her notepad while I smiled, well, Katherine was not so bad just as Kate has said, at least she knew when to admit the truth.
"You will not only play the guitar for us but also sing along with me so let's both come up with a song." She sniffled the words out as if she was mumbling words and I smiled.
Now she wanted a team, I am sure she now knows we have talents on what we have talents on, not everyone is good at dancing, if she was good at it, the other person was good at something else and shouldn't be mocked, that was how life was.

Days flew by so fast and it was the day of the outdoor show. I heard a knock on my door and glanced back as my room door was pushed open and Robin stepped in.
"Are you ready, let's go." He told me and I turned back to the mirror applying makeup on my face.
"You can go without Mr, I have a lot to prepare, I will find my way," I told him as I applied lipstick and Robin walked to my front and looked at my face.
"Why are you dolling up so much?" He looked down at my lips and I sighed
"I have to, I will be outdoor performing and lots of people will be looking at me, I just want to look good," I added more lipstick and Robin squatted close to me taking out a wipe as he lifted it close to my face and I held his hand to stop him. "Robin, what are you trying to do?"
"You apply too much lipstick on your lips, instead of drawing fans to yourself, you will also draw perverts to yourself, a little lipstick is okay," Robin told me and was about to wipe it off but I held his hand and moved my head back.
"What do you know about makeup, don't you see how female celebrities dress and make themselves up for a show? I just put on the right amount of lipstick," I glanced at the mirror and pouted my lips while I smiled. "So it's okay this way." I turned to look at Robin but he wasn't smiling.
"Would you let me wipe it off with this or would you prefer me kissing them away?" He raised his brows, it felt like he was daring me and I knew what he was going to do so I just pushed him off me and got to my feet.
"You should leave before me, the show is going to start soon and you and Hinn Carlos would be performing first to draw in more crowds so just leave already, I will be there soon.
Robin got to his feet and glanced down at my outfit. "Why are you dressed with something this short?" I was wearing a red short mini skirt that fell above my knees and a white shirt with three tops buttons open exposing the swell of my boobs.
I turned to look at Robin. "That's because I want to dress this way," I told him and he ran his hand through his hair and strolled over to me.
"Gosh, Ivana, you will be the death of me." He looked me over. "Do you want to be stolen on stage?" He asked me and I smiled.
"Are you scared I would have lots of admirals?" I raised the corner of my brows and he frowned at me.
"Damn it! Just change into something more…" He searched for the best words. "More modest." Je breathed the words and I could see he was holding himself back from doing anything, I looked hot but he was trying to hold in his desire.
"Robin, I won't change into something else, I love this outfit and it seems modest to me." I smiled and he groaned.
"You never listen." He walked over to my wardrobe and took out some of the beautiful dresses in there and showed them to me. "These are also good Ivana, why are you so stubborn?"
"Don't waste your efforts, Robin, I won't change out of these, you should leave without me, I will be coming later, I have to call my parents," I told him and sat on my sofa and took hold of my phone and he tossed my clothes on my bed and grunt.
"Suit yourself then!" He said with a clenched fist and left my room banging the door and I snigger, seeing Robin angry in a cute way was amusing.
I walked over to my window and glanced down to see Robin driving out of the mansion "I must have angered him."
I turned around and saw the dress he had left on the bed, it was a blue dress that matches my eyes colour, it's one of the dresses my mother got for me when I was about to come to the city, it was a beautiful dress so I took it up and smiled thinking back at how Robin had held it up for me.
I changed into the dress, took off the mini skirt and shorts. I glanced at the mirror and I looked just beautiful this way too.
I heard a knock on my door and turned thinking it was Robin but Mrs Jane stepped in. "Mrs Jane…"
"You look beautiful." She said softly as she walked in.
"Thank you." I smiled wondering if Robin would say the same thing if he sees me with this dress rather than the other.
"I saw Robin leave without you, did you both get into a fight?" Mrs Jane asked and I looked away from her eyes.
"He has to leave early since he would be performing first, also I want to call my parents and let them know about the main show," I told her to redirect the questions.
"Oh, okay, all the best today, I heard you will be singing." Mrs Jane said and I smiled.
"Thank you."
She left my room and I dialled my parent's number and they picked up at the first ring. "Hello mom, hello Dad." It was a video call so they could both see and I could see them.
"Hi baby, you are dolled up, are you going somewhere?" My mother asked my dad to compliment me.
"Yes, our school is having an outdoor performance to draw in people for the main show on Saturday." They told me and they looked surprised. "Sorry I didn't call to tell you both earlier.
"It's okay baby, we won't miss that show for anything." My dad assured me and I beamed.
"If you are having an outdoor show should you be heading out, I see you are still in your room." My mother said and I felt like she didn't want to speak to me although she knew about my lateness and wished to correct it.
I grinned, it had been my habit of running late to an appointment that had made me bump into Robin at the park as a kid, I feel running late has its good luck.
"I will be heading out now, just wanted to inform you both."
"Okay, good luck and love you baby." My mom and dad said and I beamed.
"Love you both too." I kissed them goodbye, taking my bag. I left my room as I hurried out of the house after calling out goodbye to Mrs Jane.
I had the address and we have scheduled when I will be performing with Katherine, I knew I was going to arrive late if I take the bus so I took a taxi, but unfortunately, it broke down on our way so I stepped out and this was on the highway and no taxi along with her, the bus stop is also far from her.
"Fuck!" I took out my phone and dialled Robin's number. I knew he must be done with his performance by now, but was scared he wouldn't take my calls since I made him angry but he picked up.
This is what love does.
I smiled and took the phone to my ear. "I am sorry Robin, I changed out from the outfit you asked me to, and I am wearing a dashing modest dress and I am looking more pretty, can you come to get me before someone steals me away?"
"It's not time for jokes Ivana, they would be calling you and Katherine out soon so where are you?"
"I am at the highway, the taxi I took broke down and I am stranded right here, come pick me up," I told him.
"What is the address?" There were many highways in the city. I looked around and spotted a sign across the street but I couldn't read it from here.
"Umm… hold on, I will cross over and say it, I see a sign." I could hear Robin's footsteps from the other side of the line, he must be heading over to his car.
I looked sideways to make sure there were no cars speeding over, I could see some far away and smiled knowing I can make it to the other side before it gets near so I stepped into the road making a run for the other side but a loud horn made me halt in shock and my eyes dilated.
"Ivana…" I heard Robin call out from the other side of the line but I was too stunned to say anything as the only thing my eyes caught was the big van that was speeding over to me and in a few seconds I lost my senses and blackout.
